The Department of Environmental Science and Engineering has an extremely dynamic faculty and a well experienced support staff having strong research interests in traditional and emerging areas of Environmental Science and Engineering. The B.Tech-M.Tech program in Environmental Science and Engineering begins with a foundation in mathematics chemistry and physics. These fundamentals are used to develop the analytical tools of environmental engineering - fluid mechanics, water quality management, environmental microbiology, environmental chemistry- in the sophomore and junior years. In the senior year courses such as GIS for environmental planning and management, environmental computation laboratory, energy conversion and environment environmental management, environmental impact assessment, and environmental law and policy make you ready to solve the problems of environment and guide the industries and government bodies for sustainable growth.
